MAN WHO ROBBED BANKS IN ADDISON AND FARMERS BRANCH, TEXAS, In September 2010, a federal jury convicted Herrera of robbing the Wells Fargo Bank, 3701 Belt Line Road, in Addison, Texas, on October 1, 2009, and robbing the Chase Bank, 12875 Josey Lane, in Farmers Branch, Texas, on November 10, 2009. On each occasion Herrera wore a Boston Red Sox baseball cap, approached the teller under the guise of wanting to cash a check, and presented a demand note for money threatening the teller for noncompliance. He fled both scenes on foot. The case was investigated by the FBI and the Farmers Branch Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Gary Tromblay prosecuted. ### |
